- Account Holders: Name, email, mobile, and hashed password.
- Contact Form: Your name, email, and message.

- IP address and browser type (security and analytics)
- Pages visited and time on site
- Referring website and device type
3. How We Use Your Information
- Processing and acknowledging your donations
- Sending donation receipts and 80G tax certificates
- Notifying volunteers about pickup requests in their pincode
- Reviewing and processing help requests from beneficiaries
- Fulfilling shop orders and arranging shipping
- Responding to your inquiries
- Improving our website and preventing fraud
- Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
We do NOT use your data for: selling to third parties, targeted advertising, or spam.
4. Sharing Your Information
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Volunteers: Your name and pickup address are shared with the assigned volunteer for item collection only.
- Payment Processors: Razorpay or UPI handles your transaction. We never store card/bank details.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law or court order.
5. Contribution Wall & Public Display
When donating you can choose whether your name appears on our public Donors Wall. This is entirely optional. Selecting "No" means your donation is recorded anonymously. You can request removal from the wall at any time by emailing us.
6. Data Security
- All passwords are hashed using bcrypt (one-way, irreversible)
- Website uses HTTPS (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit
- Uploaded ID proofs are stored in a protected directory not publicly accessible
- Database access is restricted by credentials and firewall rules
No internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to protect your data.
7. Cookies
- Session Cookies: Required for login and shopping cart. Deleted when you close your browser.
- Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics (if enabled) helps us understand site usage. No personally identifiable information is collected.
